About me

About me

Hi!  My name is Tiffany Dutson and I’m just a Small Town Girl with a Big City Spirit, making the best of Living in a Small Town.  I was born and raised in Othello, Washington, a part of the Columbia Basin.  Growing up there, I playing all sports but my two passions were Volleyball and Basketball.   Being active in sports instilled in me a desire to always stay fit and active.

After high school, I moved to Utah to pursue an education.  While in college, I met and fell in love with my husband, Devin.  We welcomed our only boy a couple of years later.  This is where my passion for running comes in, because for the first time in my life, I needed to lose weight!  I chose running because it was the most effective way to burn calories and lose weight.  It started with one mile and I soon worked my way up to five.  Then one day I heard my friends talk about the marathons they had run.  Not long after that, I ran my first half-marathon and I was off!  Along this awesome journey, we added 4 girls to our family.  I managed to run a race or two after each birth.  In 2011, our greatest challenges and blessings were born.  Identical twin girls!!  It was at this point that I felt I needed something to get me out of the house as well as providing more social interaction.  A friend suggested we meet a couple of times a week at the local church to exercise.   We created our own unique boot-camp style workout.  Eventually, this has morphed into my desire to help and guide others using what I’ve learned.

Through coaching and social media, I want to pass on my training, all of my running experience, the quick ways, the best ways, and sometimes the not so easy ways to get into shape and how to press on when things get discouraging.  Hopefully, I can help some who don’t know how to begin or some who just want new ideas and fresh starts.  After all, “what do we live for, if not to make life less difficult for others” because as you know, we’re all in this together!
